Parkwell Arrives in Nashville, Bringing Boutique Quality Service to the Music City

Nashville, TN — [July 17, 2026] — Parkwell, a leading parking management and property services company, announced today entry into the Nashville market with the opening of Washington Square, its first Tennessee location, in partnership with KWP Real Estate.

The launch extends Parkwell’s model — pairing boutique quality service with human-centered technology and local expertise — into one of the country’s fastest-changing downtown markets.  This move reflects the company’s broader push into high-growth cities across the Southeast.

Washington Square, a 195,000 sq ft building listed on the National Register of Historic Places, is located at the intersection of Second Avenue and Union Street in downtown Nashville.

Tucked among the historic brick facades and rising towers of downtown Nashville, Washington Square Garage gives Parkwell a foothold just steps from the city’s core business and entertainment districts.

“Few places in the US are growing the way Nashville is right now — new residents from across the country, new corporate headquarters, new development, and it feels like it’s happening on nearly every block from Downtown and SoBro out through Midtown to the West End,” said Michael Miller, President of Parkwell. “All of this development creates real demand for the kind of smart, seamless parking solutions we are developing to solve the challenges of ever more complex operations and rising customer expectations.  We’re excited to grow with the city and to bring our creativity, technology, and service approach to the people who are helping to transform it.”

A Partnership Built on Local Knowledge

Parkwell is entering Nashville with a local parking team, that has been serving the city for over a decade, while partnering with KWP Real Estate – a national, commercial real estate firm specializing in brokerage, property, and asset management.  The two companies have formed one, closely-knit team, dedicated to delivering a great experience for tenants, visitors, and the surrounding neighborhood as downtown Nashville continues to transform.

Investing in the Community for the Long Term

For Parkwell, Nashville is one of a small set of priority markets where the company is planting roots, and its Go Giver Program is a key way that its teams make a positive impact in every market where they operate.  The program directs volunteer time and financial support toward local non-profits and gives Parkwell employees a safety net during personal hardship — an approach the company sees as inseparable from running a good business.

“You don’t get to call yourself part of a community just by putting a sign up,” said Ryan Whitehurst, EVP and Head of People at Parkwell. “Go Giver is how our team actually shows up here — volunteering, supporting each other, and paying attention to what Nashville needs, not just what our parking locations need.”

The Nashville launch will also bring new local hiring across parking operations, on-site management, customer service, and sales — roles Parkwell expects to keep adding as it looks at further locations across the city.
